Your Counselling – Wayback NSW

Your Counselling

Recovery is rarely just about stopping; it's about understanding why and building the tools to live differently. At Wayback, counselling is at the heart of everything we do. From your first week in the program, you'll be paired with a dedicated counsellor who will work with you one-on-one throughout your time with us. Our counsellors are qualified social workers and welfare workers with hands-on experience in addiction, trauma, and mental health. They aren't here to judge, they're here to help you make sense of your experience and move forward. Everything discussed in your sessions is confidential. What you share stays between you and your counsellor, and we'll always be clear with you about any circumstances where that may need to change. Counselling at Wayback takes two forms: individual sessions tailored specifically to you, and group sessions where you'll connect with others who understand what you're going through. Together, they give you both the private space to go deep and the community support to keep going.
