Chief Executive Officer
Ray commenced at Wayback in 2008, coming from a background in policing, business management and more recently as a pastor. He holds a Bachelor of Business, Diploma of Ministry and a Diploma of Justice Administration.Ray’s principle responsibilities are to strategize the future directions of Wayback and oversee the daily operations. Ray continues to pastor at a local church, enjoys cycling and playing the saxophone in his spare time.

Counselling Section


Head of Counselling
Paulene holds a Bachelor of Counselling & Human Change from Jansen Newman Institute and has worked in the AOD sector for the past 12 years.Paulene enjoys spending her free time relaxing at the beach.


AOD Counsellor
Jiya holds a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. In 2018 she was nominated as Rotary’s ‘Inspirational Woman of the Year’ award.Jiya enjoys spending her spare time reading and furthering her academic skills.


AOD Counsellor
Anna holds a Graduate Diploma in Counselling and has expirence mentoring women exiting custody and reintegrating into the community.Anna enjoys spending her free time being outdoors, listening to music and travelling.


AOD Counsellor
Costas holds a Bachelor of Counselling Degree. Costas is also a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling federation of Australia.Costas enjoys going out to dinner with his family, travelling, and the beach.

Administration Section


Head of Administration
Joanne is the administration manager at Wayback. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and a certificate in MYOB accounting.Joanne enjoys spending her free time cooking, bushwalking and floristry.


Methadone Co-ordinator
Grace commenced working in the reception office at Wayback in 2004. Grace’s main responsibility at Wayback is liaising with the doctors and clients about their pharmacotherapy inquiries.Grace enjoys spending time with her family and gardening. She particularly enjoys native gardening that enhances the environment.


Theresa commenced at Wayback in 2010 and has learnt many functions of the organisation. She enjoys hanging out with friends, playing volleyball and has completed a number of mission trips to the Pacific Islands, America, Indonesia and New Zealand.


Amanda holds the position of client co-ordinator and recently joined the Wayback team. Amanda has a Diploma in Community Services and AOD and has previous experience in the industry.Amanda enjoys spending time with her family on weekend outings and going to the beach.
